Job Description

*Job Summary*
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialist Orthodontist to join our esteemed dental practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, planning, and executing orthodontic treatments to improve patients’ dental alignment and overall oral health. *Duties*

* Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ dental and facial structures, including analysing medical imaging and anatomical data.
* Develop customised treatment plans incorporating CAD technology for precise appliance design and treatment simulation.
* Perform orthodontic procedures such as fitting braces, aligners, retainers, and other corrective devices.
* Monitor patient progress through regular follow-up appointments, adjusting treatments as necessary.
* Collaborate with dental hygienists, general dentists, and other specialists to ensure holistic patient care.
* Maintain accurate records of treatments, progress notes, and imaging results in accordance with practice protocols.
* Stay abreast of the latest advancements in orthodontic technology and techniques to continually improve service quality.

*Experience*

* Proven experience as an Orthodontist or Specialist Orthodontist within a clinical setting.
* Proficiency in CAD software for designing orthodontic appliances.
* Strong knowledge of human anatomy relevant to craniofacial structures and dental development.
* Experience interpreting medical imaging such as X-rays, CBCT scans, and 3D models.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain treatment options clearly to patients.

Pay: £50,000.00-£150,000.00 per year
